October 2010 I began a project. I sat down and created a logo, a website, goals and a game plan. I would, for the betterment of Lansing, Michigan walk every single street in the city and promote its hidden treasures through photography and blog entries. I started on a very sunny day, at the heart of Lansing; the Capitol. I took my daughter, Ellie, with me and we walked a mile. Just over three years later I walked my last city street October 4, 2013 at 4:30 p.m. with a grand total of 537 miles! This has been an amazing journey for me. I am now sharing many of my favorite photographs in the City Saunter Gallery located at 1133 South Washington Ave. in REO Town.

At the completion of this project I will have walked past every home and business in Lansing. I have accumulated over 20,000 photographs and 167 blog posts. I have gained a phenomenal understanding of this community through the massive undertaking of walking it in its entirety. I would love to share my finds with you, whether it’s the photographs, my love for this city, mere conversation or a more in depth presentation of the project (why, how, when). I am available for speaking engagements and other social events. I am eager to be a part of Lansing’s rejuvenation and growth.
