My passion for photography developed soon after receiving an EOS Rebel 35mm camera in 1992. I found great enjoyment taking photos of the natural things around me as well as my children. I was able to expand my skills by taking photos at weddings and parties, for senior pictures, and family portraits. After taking photos for over 18 years I have accumulated a large stock photo ensemble as well. I am constantly improving my style and learning as new technologies change the way photographs are taken and processed. With a background in art, a bachelor's degree in psychology and a mother of 4 children, I feel I have a gentle and easy going personality that puts subjects at ease. I specialize in candid photography using natural lighting in a natural environment. I especially like using prime locations throughout the Lansing area to enhance the photos I take.
